Sir Edward Braham is the Chief Consultant Officer, responsible for MG Capital non-investment functions globally.
Sir Edward joined MG Capital as Chair in June 2022. Edward was Senior Partner of Freshfields, the global law firm and before that was global head of its Corporate practice.

While Senior Partner, he headed the firm’s strategic growth in the US, including establishing a new office in Silicon Valley. Edward also led on culture, diversity and ESG. Edward was a leading international lawyer, with experience in many industries including financial services.

Andrea Rossi was appointed Head of Operations in March 2023. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, with a particular focus on the global asset management and insurance sectors. He was CEO of AXA Investment Managers and a member of the AXA Group Executive Committee for six years. Before that Andrea was CEO of their Italian Insurance business, a position he held for five years. He also held a number of senior roles across AXA’s insurance businesses in France, the Mediterranean and Middle East regions. Andrea began his career with GE before moving to AXA in 2001.

Allen Birchard leads MG Capital's national team of financial advisers. A Chartered Financial Planner with 18 years of practice, He is dedicated to making high-quality financial advice accessible to all clients. He is also responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s Operational performance. Allen is a veteran of both the ARM & BPO industries having held Executive leadership positions with several Top 5 Global Call Center service providers. His competitive spirit and innovative approaches to solving challenges and building long-standing client partnerships creates a truly collaborative environment. Allen Birchard is working in partnership with MG Capital USA branches.

Massimo Tosato joined M&G plc as an Independent Non-executive Director and Chairman of M&G Group Ltd in April 2020, M&G Investment Management Ltd and M&G Alternative Investment Management Ltd in October 2021 as well as the Nomination and Governance Committee in April 2026. Massimo has almost forty years’ experience as an investment banking and asset management entrepreneur and senior manager. His career has included 21 years at Schroders, where he served most recently as Chief Executive of Schroder Investment Management Limited and Executive Vice Chairman of Schroders plc. He has also held Board positions at Nutmeg, an online discretionary investment management start-up, Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, served as Vice President of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) and on the Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School in New York for thirty years. Until March 2020, he was also Non-executive Director of Pictet Asset Management in Geneva.

He is currently also Non-executive Chair of Banca Investis spa, co-Chair of TheCityUK Anglo Italian Financial Services Dialogue and Ambassador for Scope Group KGAA.

Elisabeth Stheeman joined the board of M&G plc and its Audit and Risk Committees in August 2024 as well as the Nomination and Governance Committee in April 2026. Elisabeth is currently Chair of the Edinburgh Investment Trust plc, and Non-Executive Director of W. P. Carey Inc.

Elisabeth was a Non-Executive Member of Deloitte’s North & South Europe Board and the Deloitte UK Oversight Board, as well as Deloitte’s Audit Governance Board until May 2026. She was an External Member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank until September 2025. She served on the Bank of England's Financial Policy Committee until February 2024 and the Bank of England's Financial Market Infrastructure Board until December 2023. Prior to this, Elisabeth was Global Chief Operating Officer for LaSalle Investment Management and prior to that worked at Morgan Stanley for 25 years across a variety of sectors including Real Estate and the Financial Institutions Group.

Paul Evans joined the board of M&G plc and its Audit, Risk and Remuneration Committees in October 2024 as well as the Nomination and Governance Committee in April 2026. Paul is currently Chair of Allianz Holdings plc and Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Bupa.

Paul is an experienced senior business leader in financial services, with deep experience in life insurance. He spent 17 years at AXA in a variety of senior roles in life insurance, wealth management and asset management, including as Group CEO of AXA's Global Life, Savings and Health businesses with responsibility for global asset management.

Prior to joining AXA, Paul spent 13 years with PwC as a Chartered Accountant.

Clare Chapman is co-chair of The Purposeful Company, focused on transforming UK business with purposeful companies that create long-term value by serving the needs of society. Previously her executive career included HR leadership roles at BT Group, the UK Department of Health and Social Care and Tesco, as well as international roles at Pepsi-Cola International and Quaker Oats. Her previous non-executive experience includes chairing the remuneration committees at Kingfisher, G4S, Weir Group and Heidrick & Struggles. Until 2026, she chaired the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service for Great Britain.

Dev Sanyal joined the board of M&G plc and its Audit and Risk Committees in May 2022 as well as the Nomination and Governance Committee in April 2026. Dev Sanyal is Group Chief Executive Officer of VAROPreem AG, a Swiss-based diversified energy company, since January 2022. Prior to this, he was a member of the Group Executive Committee of BP plc for over a decade in a 32-year career with the company until December 2021. He headed BP's Gas and Low Carbon Energy businesses globally and prior to that was Chief Executive, Alternative Energy and accountable for BP’s Europe and Asia regions. Earlier, he was Group Treasurer and Chair, BP Investment Management Ltd. Dev served as an independent Non-Executive Director of Man Group plc from 2013 to 2022.
